Building skills. Transforming futures of women through Balrampur Bioyug Bioplastic 3D printing project!

As part of its commitment to sustainable community development and women empowerment, Balrampur Foundation, in collaboration with Balrampur Bioyug and ITI Mohammadi, has launched “Building Skills. Transforming Futures – Balrampur Bioyug Bioplastic 3D Printing Project”. Supported by VAP 3D as the knowledge and technical partner, the initiative aims to equip young women with advanced manufacturing and digital skills through 3D printing technology using Bioyug PLA. The programme focuses on hands-on learning, employability, and women-led entrepreneurship through next-generation technologies. Implemented through a structured Train-the-Trainer (TTT) model, the initiative includes training in machine operations, design software, and AI-assisted tools, with a pilot batch of 20 girl students at ITI Mohammadi. The project infrastructure includes advanced 3D printers, laptops, Bioyug PLA materials, dryers, enclosures, and supporting equipment. Through this initiative, Balrampur Foundation continues to strengthen its CSR efforts towards skill development, youth empowerment, and sustainable livelihood creation in rural communities.
